Der Vierklang m7b5 kommt in allen Modes der Dur Tonleiter (Kirchentonleitern) vor. Genauso in sämtlichen Modes von Harmonisch-Moll und Melodisch-Moll.

In der Praxis begegnet uns der Bm7b5 auf der 7. Stufe der C-Dur Tonleiter (eher selten) und auf der 2. Stufe der A-Moll Tonleiter.

Der Umkehrschluß von Bm7b5 auf die Tonleiter ist demnach nicht eindeutig. Wink
