Adapter PCIexpress zu PCI
in meiner kleinen MukerBude betreibe ich das - mittlerweile 12 Jahre alte - sensationell klingende AudioInterface E-MU 1616m.

- Die Karte zur Breakout-Box hat Rechner intern einen PCI 2.2 Anschluss.
- Es gab bisher nur Treiber für Windows bis max. 7.

Tatsächlich hat 2010 jemand für das Interface einen Treiber für Win 10 geschrieben!
Das ließe zu, dass ich mit einem neuen Musikrechner auf ein aktuelleres Windows BS umsteigen könnte. Das ein solcher Adapter funktioniert, davon gehe ich aus.

Meine Fragen:
- Hat jemand Erfahrung mit einem Soundinterface über einen Adaptern von PCI auf das aktuelle PCI Express?
- Verzögert der Adapter den Datendurchsatz und erhöht damit die Latenz des Interfaces?
