Bedeutung: Gegriffene Bässe??

Liebe Forenmitglieder.

Für eine Aufnahmeprüfung ist das "klassische Gitarre-Spielen mit gegriffenen Bässen und die Akkorde C, G..." notwendig.
Weiß jemand was genau unter "klassisches Spielen mit gegriffenen Bässen" gemeint ist?

Ich selbst spiele nicht Gitarre aber meine Partnerin hat diese Aufnahmeprüfung, da sie jedoch aus England ist, ist ihr Deutsch-Wissen und leider mein Gitarren-Wissen nicht ausreichend...
Ich bin für jede einfache Erklärung (die ich dann als Nicht-Gitarrenspieler übersetzen kann) sehr, sehr dankbar.

Das bedeutet wohl 'klassisches Melodiespiel mit gegriffenem Bass'.
Das heisst, das sowohl die Melodielinien als auch der zugrunde liegende Basston gleichzeitig gegriffen werden sollen.

Für deine aus England stammende bekannte würde ich das folgendermassen übersetzen: "Play the classical melody including the corresponding bass note according to the context". Als Erklärung: "Involve the bass note, e.g. if you play a melody in the key of C major, do include the Note C as Bass note. A Bass Note of C may be picked at the A string on the third fret."

Zu deinem Link: Aus meiner Sicht ist das nur der Einstieg. Unter 'klassischem Spiel' verstehe ich nicht unbedingt das Akkordspiel. Ich denke, es geht wirklich darum, sowohl eine Melodielinie als auch die dazu passenden Bassnoten zu spielen. Spielt deine Partnerin nach Noten?

Das liest sich, als wäre das Akkordspiel eine separate Hürde.

Mal eine ganz bescheidene Frage: kann dieser Zusatz mit den Akkorden , hier C und G, nicht einfach dahingehend ausgelegt sein, dass hierdurch lediglich die Tonart festgelegt wird. Ich weiß nicht, wie solche Prüfungen ablaufen, ob du ein Stück bekommst und es nachspielen sollst oder etwas "frei" spielen sollst. Bei zweiterem ist es natürlich wichtig zu wissen, in welcher Tonart du dich bewegen sollst, damit die Prüfer sehen (hören), das du weißt, was du da tust, die einzelnen Stimmen richtig auflöst usw.

Ist jetzt aber nur mal so eine Vermutung von mir, also ganz übles Halbwissen.

Ok, dann ist es ganz bestimmt Melodiespiel mit Basstönen. Das andere sind die Standard-Dur-Akkorde, welche offen (d.h. mit Einsatz von Leersaiten) gegriffen werden können.

Which corresponds to your response "A Bass Note of C may be picked at the
A string on the third fret", but I still have a few questions:

1.) In the video that you posted, is the woman playing chords or notes? I
noticed that she played a C chord, but don't recognize everything that she
does with her left hand.

2.) Is it correct, that when one plays a C chord, it is possible to pluck the E
string (open) with the thumb before strumming or finger picking; and that
the string which is plucked changes depending on which chord is played? Is
this simply a playing technique, which has nothing to do with "...gegriffenen
Bässen"?

3.) Are there set rules to which string should be plucked for which chord?

4.) Would "spielen mit gegriffen Bässen" be - for example - playing a D chord,
then plucking the D string whilst holding it down on the first fret, then
playing a G, plucking the A string whilst holding it down on the third
fret...etc.?

Answering your questions
1) She starts with a C chord, but plays around with the fingers, especially with the pinky. The woman is playing notes, based on a C chord, or better, within the key of C.

2) Depending on the chord you're playing you've got also a bass note matching. For a C major chord, the bass note would be, of course, a C. A bass note should be played on one of the low-pitched strings E, A or D. According to the guitar fretboard you attached the lowest-pitch C can be found on the third fret on the A string.

3) Yep. See answer two. For example, if you play a G major chord, the lowest possible G as a note is set on the E-string on the third fret. If you play a D minor, the lowest possible D is the 'empty' D string.

4) See answer three. Play the D chord and try to find the lowest possible D as a note. Play the G and look for the low note G (third fret, E-string). Play the A chord and, where is the A note? Right, it is the A string with no finger set on any fret.

Does this explanation make sense to you?
