Dorisch? Dann wäre der E(-Dur)-Akkord fehl am Platz, weil Em ein Teil der dorischen A-Akkordtonleiter ist.

Die Akkordfunktionen sind so ja alle OK, sagen wir halt einfach, dass bei der Subdominante anstelle des Moll-Akkords einfach der entsprechende Dur-Akkord eingesetzt wird, dann bleibt \"House of the rising sun\" einfach in A-Moll. Die kleinen Ausnahmen sind ja die Würze in der Musik.
