Ich würde dir zum Kauf eines Audiointerfaces raten. Damit hast du nicht nur das Latenzproblem im Griff, der Sound wird sich auch stark verbessern.

Eine gute Empfehlung im Einsteigerbereich wäre zum Beispiel das Fast Track Pro von M-Audio. Stabile Treiber, guter Sound, digitale Ein- und Ausgänge und eine Midischnittstelle sind alles was man braucht um ordentlich arbeiten zu können:
