Der Sound mit dem Plek ist einfach brillianter oder klirriger(mir fällt kein besseres wort ein).mit dem Finger klingt ein Akkordanschlag sanfter und dumpfer d.h.nur der schwington der seite und kaum anschlagton.mit dem plek ist es am anfang einfacher nur bestimmte seiten zu treffen oder eine seite öfters hintereinander anzuschlagen--->siehe Pulp Fiction Theme.wenn du später pickings(zupftechnik) spielen willst ist ein plek eher störend .Es kommt also daruf an wie du klingen willst...
