Hallo,
ich bin Tischler und kein Lackierer, würde aber trotzdem vermuten das ein Hochglanz-Finish etwas einfacher/schneller und somit etwas preiswerter herzustellen ist als ein Satin-Finish. Beide Flächen werden nach dem Lackieren noch poliert. Und wenn die Lackschicht dick genug ist, ist das bei hochglanz relativ einfach. Eben schwabbeln bis alles glänzt, und die Fläche makellos ist.
Bei Satin-Finish wirds bis dahin genauso laufen, aber am Schluß kommt noch ein Poliergang mit allerfeinster Schleifpaste um den Glanz wieder rauszunehmen.
