Das geniale an dem Baby ist: sie ist leichter als meine Strat! Das liegt nicht etwa an billigem Holz oder so, sondern daran, dass bei diesem Modell anderes Mahagoni als bei Gibson verwendet wird. Ich habe mir sagen lassen (von Alex meinem Fachhändler) , dass es zwei unterschiedliche Grundtypen gibt: Honduraz oder (*schlagmichtot*) ich glaube Curtaz (oder so...Rolleyes ). Eigentlich ist letzteres usprünglich seltener un deshalb teurer gewesen. Inzwischen ist es bei Epiphone-Babys mit Mahagoni-Korpus standard. Die original Paulas von Gibson werden mit Honduraz-Mahagoni gebaut.
Sie lässt sich klasse bespielen. Dass der Hals breiter als bei der Strat ist konnte ich nicht feststellen, aber das Profil ist ein bißchen dünner.

ich hoffe, dass du Gelegenheit hast sie mal zu testen. Ist nämlich ein streng limitiertes Sondermodel (Holzarten, Finish und schwarze Hardware)
