ich kann zu dem Vorgang nicht viel sagen. In irgendeiner Ausgabe von G&B stand die Bemerkung des Räucherns im Zusammenhang mit den Metallteilen von Relic-gitarren. Es wurde aber in keinster Weise näher darauf eingegangen.

ich werde es mal mit konzentrieter Salzsäure probieren und ein paar Tage liegen lassen und dann mal sehn..
da es squier mechanicken sind kann ich nicht allzu viel kaputt machn und die versuchsbeschreibung scheint mir einleuchtend
