Ich denke eines der besten Beispiele fürs Shredding ist Michael Angelo Batios \"No Boundaries\" (Speed Lives). Das ist so ziemlich das melodischste Shredding was ich kenne.

Shredding besteht natürlich hauptsächlich aus Sweep Picking, Tapping und unzähligen Legato Techniken (Slides, HOs, POs, ...)
