Auf dem Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) wird als Zeitcode der MTC-Zeitcode benutzt. Das ist ein achtstelliger Zeitcode, der aus dem SMPTE-Zeitcode erzeugt wird und auch wieder in diesen umgesetzt werden kann. Der MTC-Zeitcode bietet neben der Zeitangabe in Stunden, Minuten und Sekunden auch Steuerinformationen.

Der MTC-Zeitcode ist mit seinen Synchronisationsinformationen im MIDI-Datenstrom eingebunden und unterstützt die synchrone Steuerung von Audiosequenzen. Zu diesem Zweck kann der MTC-Zeitcode in einer Masterstation erzeugt werden und den Ablauf in mehreren angeschlossenen Slave-Stationen synchronisieren.

sodele... nun müssen wir nur noch herausfinden, wie man den Sequenzern sagt, wer master und wer slave ist.... und schon sollte die Synchronisation über midi auch funzen.... Wink

Bis dahin...verwenden wir eine Master-Audio-Spur...
