It makes perfect sense and I feel as if you have lifted a cloud of confusion from me!! Thankyou very, very much. Your explanation has helped me greatly in beginning the next step of my guitar learning. Since reading your response I have been busying myself with keys, notes, scales, triads etc.... a whole new world of possibilities :-)
