Die chromatische Leiter umfasst 12 Töne. Einige Gelehrte bezeichnen die Abstände zwischen den Tönen auch als Intervalle und bezeichnen sie mit:

1 - b2 - 2 - b3 - 3 - 4 - b5 - 5 - b6 - 6 - 7 - maj7

Wenn du jetzt bei G anfängst zu zählen, dann ist das Intervall 4 die Note C. Ein möglicher Fingersatz wäre dann für

G4: 320013

Fängst du bei C an zu zählen, kommst du auf die Note F. Als Fingersatz wäre möglich für

C4: 032011
