Die Konstellation mit einem Volume und zwei Tone-Reglern ist für eine Stratocaster typisch.

An den Tone-Reglern sind Kondensatoren angebracht. Diese nehmen beim Zurückdrehen des Poties Höhen aus dem Klang.
